Never seen the movie-saw the play years ago during Joel Grey's last tour. Was actually quite good! I do like the poster as well.

  • That's a nice start to Mad March...
  • Woah!!! Great poster...
  • Oh I like that one!
  • Liza with legs, cool!
  • Nice Mark! Cant wait to see it backed!
  • A few from me.  So much for behaving!

    Cape Fear Australian One Sheet

    Singapore Australian One Sheet

These are a bit rough, but mostly there.  Will look loverly when restored!

The Cohens And Kellys In Atlantic City / Eileen

  • Some nice rare titles there.
  • Thanks all!
  • Wow! Ves, those are really nice!
Simgapore is really cool!---all the different pictures + colors....

And those old daybills are great! What years are they?
  • I like the style of the Cohens indeed
  • I have that Cabaret in insert format hanging.  Prefer it to the original.

I like the 1 sheet even more.  Nice pickup.
  • Got me an awesome set of "Fiebre" stills and a press poster from Japan. It's coming Charlie's way ;)

Thanks. Yours looks great framed!-nice preview for my one sheet.

They are from the late 1920s :)

  • Long daybills I'm guessing----nice btm third of Cohens, swimsuits & Ferris wheel.
  • Great gear Ves. Love that Singapore.

Matias, agreed that's an awesome set!

  • Nice pickups Ves!
  • Very nice Ves - did you buy the Cape Fear already backed?  Seems like the "go to" restorers would have attempted to remove the ink bleed-through on Quasimodo Mitchum ;)

    Insert huge sigh here.

Yeah already backed.  I sat on it for AGES before I decided to buy for this very reason.  Based on my previous experience with resto, wouldn't have been that hard either.  Other than the bleed through, it looks like it was in great shape before...they should have just left it.

It's more annoying in person than on the image, but I've not come across another yet. Not sure what I'll do going forward...

  • Been a busy month a Japanese B2 of Battles Without Honor and Humanity Film Festival poster from the 70's. Now that only leaves 5 more posters to find from this film series.

Don't ask me why, but I feel the 70s Spider-Man Television SHow is better than any of the films that have been released. Here is an International One Sheet for The Amazing Spider-Man TV pilot that was released theatrically overseas. Nicholas Hammond signed it over the weekend for me just waiting to get it back in the mail.

A Japanese B1 of the Flash Gordon film from 1980. Love this movie and to be honest I love the Richard Amsel poster for the US One Sheet, but something about the artwork on this poster spoke to me from Renato Casaro. Simply backgrounds, colors, and Flash is the main focus point you know this Flash's film and not Ming's. I thought about the Italian Poster with same artwork just slightly darker colors and the overall size steered me away since I would have to special order a plexiglass piece that big in since my frame will not ship them that large.

  • Oh FLASH!  Loved that movie growing up.  Congratulations.  Very nice!
  • That Spidey will always be popular, nice pick-up

A few more Daybills to add, not a huge find, however I love the Green Berets (although a tad tatty) and although pretty inexpensive and not overly exciting artwork, I do have a liking for Audie Murphy, more so for his military exploits than anything else.

  • No images and I like Audie Murphy posters.

Any better Hondo? I was editing it to add in the General and everything disappeared, should be good now.
  • A slight tangent from my usual daybill show and tells, my father in law just sent these pics through from a flea market in Malaysia, not poster size (estimates them at approximately 6 x 12 or so), Across the Pacific' has obviously been trimmed, however age wise the very elderly seller swears he's been collecting since the late 40's as a child and has about 300 different titles. He's off back tomorrow and I may ask him to pick a couple up.

Perfect . The Three Hours To Kill daybill I have never been keen on as it partly obscures Donna Reed's lovely face. The W.E.Smith artist copied from the U.S. 3 sheet which is the same. Had they copied from the U.S. insert it would have been perfect as Donna's face isn't obscured at all on the insert.
  • Posters posters posters, I'm lovin the influx. Great work guys!
  • A few more to add to my last Malaysia themed post.
