Just started wading through the information available here: https://www.legislation.gov.au/Content/HistoricGazettes
You can find notes about films passed for exhibition by month and year. I've just been browsing and it's been great to see what other posters may be out there! For example, the August 1974 Gazette mentions 5 movies that I wasn't sure had Aussie paper, but can reasonably assume now that they do. The same Gazette also informs us that the original 'Deep Throat' was rejected again by the Board, as was 'The Devil in Miss Jones'. AND in another section it tells us that 'Nothing But The Night' (which was passed in Dec 1972) has now been renamed 'Castle of the Living Dead'.
I recommend having a look...and I make no apologies if it causes your want list to swell!
