  • Well it's been a while and posting pics doesn't seem to work for me and my dodgy technical memory.

Does anyone know about this one? I've only previously seen US and NZ, not Australian, paper for it.

  • Great paper Rick! Well done completing your Elvis collection!! Massive achievement!
  • and thanks for fixing up the photos!
  • Oh Matias, those are really nice, great eye (as always!)
  • My oh my... that Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome db is sensational!

  • Congratulations Rick!  Fantastic to finish off that collection I am sure and a long time coming!

Miracle on 34th Street....really wish the daybill was nicer!  Great movie.

    No idea on the ACDC...

  • I've been told AC/DC might have been a video release poster

It is interesting that Australia kept the U.S. title, because surely "34th Street" meant little or nothing to Aussie audiences (in New York 34th Street was the iconic location of Macy's and Gimbel's, the two massive department stores that play such a big role in the movie).

In England, they changed the title to "The Big Heart", for unknown reasons:

I wonder why Australia didn't follow suit.

And I wished they had left the original title on for the UK release, would have made a much better poster; And saved me explaining it at Christmas when I put mine up..

Hey Sven, can't compete with that Dick Tracey, but...

Snap, just got this a few days back..

  • @Rick those are some really nice posters! The Dick Tracey is fantastic!
  • it's interesting to compare the Evil Eye US and Aussie versions on the same page. Seeing them together in real life, I prefer the  Aussie
  • Rebuilding Collection 2.0!

Nobody has any exciting May acquisitions???? I won this poster a few days back.  Now just to wait for it to arrive.

Well it arrived from Spain...  WoooWhooo!
  • Very nice. Different from many Ive seen.
  • I have some modern stuff, but are trying to keep it vintage on here now..

  • Vintage!!! Vintage!!!
  • May has been quiet, but that is very nice Charlie. Size?
  • One sheet!
  • Attempting to boost the May thread with this gem!

I bought it as a major restoration project and that it will be! I love the artwork and era...

My wife's said, "my God he's missing most of his face!" I told her she'd have no problem fixing that... =)

...the backside kinda sums up the project...but, good price and great imagery, so It'll be fun to tackle this one...

  • As an added bonus, it's got a sweet logo on the bottom right!

  • unfortunately, the image with the front didn't come through to me
