RIP Tobe Hooper and Sonny Landham
Just heard that director Tobe Hooper passed away yesterday (Aug.26). For those who don't recognize the name, he directed the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the original Poltergeist, Lifeforce, Salem's Lot and The Funhouse -- the more successful of the many horror films he was known for.
While reading Hooper's obituary on Variety, I was also saddened to see that Sonny Landham (known best for his role as Billy in Predator) passed away on Aug.17.
Both men were in their 70s.
RIP to both of them.

Oh...Original TCM creeps me out some 20 odd years after it was made.
Very few "horror" films do that...all you horror nerds whip it out in memory of the great man and give yourself a good scare! (I'd join you but you know, it creeps me out too much!)
