  • What are your top  must watch movies?

Are we talking a top 5 or top 10? It opens up quite a bit if it's ten.
  • I've burned out on Christmas Story and Its a Wonderful Life.  I think this year I'm going to run White Christmas and Gremlins for my Christmas movies.
  • I can not go Christmas without A Christmas Story...

  • And Rankin Bass, Rudolph is a must.  I added Bad Santa a year or so back, and have just added Bad Santa 2, which I think maybe better than the first..

Holiday Inn is always a must watch, as is Jingle all the way.. I do watch quite a few around this time. Die Hard, Home alone, Dance of the Vampires, Miracle on 34th street, all of Stan and Ollies "Snow" Shorts.. A few Marx Brothers, just for good measure. As well as all the classics...Scrooge, Wonderful Life, etc..

  • Great thread!

    ACS for me....

    Had the US 1S:

Anything goes...I was thinking the movies you watch just about every year...any number is fine :)
  • Miracle on 34th Street
    A Christmas Story
    National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
    A Christmas Carol

Just to name a few for us.

  • I love It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle On 34th Street ( the original version of course ), Holiday Inn and Mr. Kruger's Christmas, the 1980 TV short that you may not even be aware of. Search it out as it is well worth seeing.

  • I usually watch Die Hard and Battle of the River Plate. (has one Xmas scene in it)

  • I watch any classic that is on TV when I am sitting in front of it....!

  • A new Christmas movie this year. Will we look back fondly on it in years to come I wonder?
  • Elf with Will Ferrell puts me in laughter fits.
Ive put  Jingle All the Way  and Bad Santa on my to watch list this year

Christmas Vacation is running quite a bit after mid December when college football isn't on. Others that are must watch in the household.
    -Ifs a Womderful Life
    -A Christmas Story
    -Miracle on 34th St
    -White Christmas
    -Scrooged
-A Christmas Carol (Alister Sim '53)
    -Home Alone
    -Rudolph
    -Die Hard
Guess that's most of the must watches, although my wife always makes me sit through at least one viewing of Love Actually. Which is not too bad.  ;)
    Cheers! :)
  • Good list, but what about The Santa Clause?

Thx! Haven't seen it: is it good? With Tim Allen right?
  • It's a Christmas movie, of course it is good!

    The kids will love it...(probably)
  • I quite like The Santa Clause..
