2001 (1971rr 30x40): Lotsa 1Ss of this but folds ruin them IMO:

Killian printed these 27x41" - using original printing plates - got it for $75, 5% of "Revenge" 1983 recalled 1Ss:

Wacky/funny/offensive (?):

  • Cool Mel!

    keep them coming.

2001 can't bear to watch the first chapter. Then it gets cool.

I'm so poor now, I can't afford to give you the time!  -

Well, that's a little "Mel"odramatic, but I have already blown July's discretionary dough! Oh, well....

    *****

Little less competition tonight with U.S. July 4 holiday, so I took advantage:

    Funny/comely/politically incorrect nowadays:

Missed out on the Mondo Jaws offering yesterday but...

    The Dude! (sorta....)

Finally, I suspect the MP is light-years better than the flick...

  • Nothing here to rival Mel's mega poster post, but one more hot rod, juvenile ne'er-do-well pressbook for the growing collection:

hot rod gang - high school hellcats pressbook

    :):)
  • Love it Rock, congrats!
  • Double bill, nice! And in great shape to boot!

Curious, Rock, was American International the main producer for the teen rebellion movies? I see their name
    quite a bit.

    Cheers!
  • Thanks, guys. I’m no aficionado on 50’s teen movies, but if memory serves, it was AIP and Allied Artists that did the majority of them. As we know, it was definitely AIP that did the great posters.
  • I started "liking" posts hereabouts. Zuckerberg wins!

  • Picked up another Winter Bone OS - didn’t someone on here want one?
  • Image may contain one or more people I've been after this one for a while, just purchased today.

  • A must have for the sci fi fan, very nice Rick!
  • Very nice.  Congrats!
  • A must have for any collection,  congrats Rick!
  • Winner!
  • Yep, Rick just won July and we're only one week in!
  • Agreed! Fantastic poster, Rick!!
  •  Offered what was believed to be a 'Carve Her Name With Pride' daybill (which I'm after!), what materialised obviously wasn't what was thought, but grabbed the press book regardless.

Wonder what the mounted colour display looked like? And 14 reels?
  • There's not one press book in my very humble collection, but whenever I see them i think, I gotta start picking those things up! Their really cool and give great original info on the movie!

    Nice one, Wil!
  • Oddly, picked a couple of P/B's up myself this last month.. This is one huge at 22"x18"

And this not quite as big, but a good size...

And lastly, just had to have this....

  • Nice Paul!
  • Very nice Paul!
  • Large PB is nice!
  • Nice!
  • Don't think i posted this yet; picked this up a month or two ago. It satisfies my quest for 1930's paper.

    Quick Money-US One Sheet-1937.

  • Stunning Mark!
  • Paul - Love the Konga, almost worth a frame itself?

Mark - The massive green dot of the eye looked like a blacked out Aussie rating decal at first glance! Nice score mate.

Also ref earlier Carve Her Name post, Matt has now come to the rescue with a daybill and a Kiwi one at that! Will definitely be a framer.

  • WOO HOO...Don't you love it when VMPF'ers spread the poster love around!

You're not wrong Ves. Did you say you had a spare one of those 1931 Frankenstein Daybills going cheap?  ;)
  • Lovely pressbooks and paper team!
