It's mega difficult to try and follow all that poster and pressbook greatness, but here's the latest for me. I'm slooooowly chipping away at getting the posters for all the 50's hot rod movies in whatever poster size/format I can (although inserts are handy for limited wall space). This time around it's Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow. It has a bit of a condition issue in the upper left, but I'll take what I can get. Other than that it's in pretty decent shape.
Another non-Aussie post, this time couple of American Mary Poppins door panels, the guy I just got them off has the other two in the set (one with both children and one with their parents) missing in action, but is convinced he'll find them this week.
Great door panels. Are you going to cover every inch of your house in posters? lol. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
That's the plan Matt Although as more goes up I am finding that my very opinionated in-laws feel to need to continually ask where their daughters artwork will be going?

I tend to ignore the questions as they tend to direct it at her (as if I don't exist). They purposely ignore my hangings whenever they visit (but I'm sure they discuss the hell out of them in the car on the way home )
I've had these two a little while now, however I don't think I've thrown them up in here before?
A little bit 'armature/crude' in appearance, but for me it certainly adds to their charm . Obviously these pale in comparison to some of the framed Aussie Sci-fi that some of our frequent posters have showed off in the past (War of the Worlds, forbidden planet, Them etc.)
These are getting framed shortly, so easier to snap without the reflection.
I like them. Like so many posters they look better in person.
Thanks Matt, the Monolith is the nicer of the two, also luckily both are only tri-folded, so with the exception of creasing and a water mark on the Dinosaurus, they should frame well 'as is'.
As long as they're outrageously implausible sci-fi, the titles hardly matter. They all have the same quirky charm, and those are two great examples! As mentioned, the colors pop nicely.
Crikey, nice pick ups Wil, do like the door panels, I can't make out with country they are from?
Thanks Paul, the Poppins are of US origin, Bruce sold a pair back in 2004. Although it doesn't appear they were as nice or that the other two in the set have materialised before (although they may have elsewhere).

I also think that images of Mary in her trademark dark coat/hat and Bert in his chimney sweep outfit would have looked nicer.

You told them the fridge door, right?
I'm guessing the other two weren't very popular at the time so weren't retained.
