Banners

Show us what ya got.

They are big but the best place I've found to hang them is above the bedhead.

Thanks, it's much nicer in person.

I noticed the other day that there was a second version of WWC measuring 24 x 60 smaller than the version I have on the wall. (24 x 82).

Is this common? Why would they have made a smaller version?

  • I've only got the Longest Day one (burried somewhere).

So were US banners predominantly used at drive ins? As there surely aren't enough out there to have seen General theatre use?

Yes, there were two sizes, the smaller one with no image. We have auctioned a number of each. Everyone agrees they were used in drive-ins only.

It seems that around 90% to 99% of the ones known come from one amazing find of thousands of them, which was sold to the store Cinema Collectors, owned by the late (and infamous) Joe Martinez (aka Joe Mass).

  • Hi Everyone!  Bruce, this 24”x 82” frame with the 2.5” Wide Cinema Border was $195.95 free shipping. This was my first purchase from Spotlight Displays and the frame is superb!  I must also add that the customer service is A1!   I’m cueing up for a 3 Sheet frame for my next order.
  • Uncle Boris stopped by… He thought he would hang out for a while. Uncle Lon gets to go back into the poster crypt for a while… I love Banners!
