Poster values

I have been asked to value a collection of mostly original posters and lobby cards. However, a group of the posters in the collection are clearly repros including this one ...

I think the owner of the collection thought that this and others they purchased were original as the description was a little vague. I would have thought these posters have little or no value but just curious as to whether anyone here thinks they might have some value.

  • Commercial posters are a bit like video store posters. If they have unique art they can have some appeal to collectors, but straight copies of the 'real thing' is unlikely to hold much value.
  • I agree... They need to offer something different.  These don’t. The originals aren’t even that great.
  • Agree. And only 3 sold so the market knows they are not great.
