First of all both posters are extremely rare. My knowledge and thoughts on the two posters are as follows.
Switchblade Sisters is a 1975 U.S.A. film imported into Australia and passed with an R certificate for public exhibition on 1 April 1978. The importer was 14th Mandolin and the title was changed to The Switchboard Sisters. According to IMDb the film was released in Australia 22 June 1978.
Regarding the two posters, I am thinking that the odd size poster on the right was possibly printed for 14th Mandolin. The standard for that period daybill on the left was printed for Eric Dare';s Garland Productions. Perhaps Garland Productions took over distribution sometime later after the film was passed for distribution in Australia.
Both sets of the Australin poster artwork appear on the following original U.S.A. press sheet.
