how to verify a signature

As noted below, I bought this a long time ago, not sure if it was a real a signature (not that i like getting posters signed) but never knew if it was real.

So i want to the real thing and asked!

can confirm this as a real autograph. It's on an original Nightshift US one sheet. It says `Mark Happy New Year! I loved making this movie so much, Henry Winkler Jan 2, 1991'. Bought on eBay years ago. I prefer autographs in person, but I'm in Australia!

I have one from Peter Cushing as well on a lobby card - bit hard to get him to confirm or otherwise
