C 552 - James Stewart in The FBI Story (1959)
Correct. I had thought my last clue would assist in coming up with the answer.

  • The previous clue actually gave it to me. James Stewart shared his name with Stewart Grainger. I knew that without looking it up.

    Three good clues to ponder.

    C553 - thinking a Clint Eastwood film, but that's all I've got.

I'll take a stab in the dark and say Dirty Harry 1971

You are correct in saying Clint Eastwood,, but the scene isn't from Dirty Harry. Think beyond the Dirty Harry series.
  • Coogan's Bluff?

Good guess of a Clint Eastwood film, but unfortunately it isn't that one.
  • One final clue for C553 major assignment.
  • The Eiger Sanction?

Sorry Brace but not that one, We are certainly working our way through the Clint Eastwood film possibilities.

Although I had mentioned previously that I had provided my last clue I couldn't resist in providing one more. The clue being you had to be fit to do the job.
  • The Gauntlet?  I guess what is confuses me is that it appears to be an FBI badge, and can't find a film to match
  • Coogan's Bluff?

Sorry boys, but not the answer.

Although I previously mentioned that I had given my last clue, I have now decided to include one more so to get this solved.

The clue is As Time Goes By.
  • The only other thought I had was In The Line Of Fire (1993)

  • The only other thought I had was In The Line Of Fire (1993)
Your thought for C553 is spot on. My last clue of As Time Goes By referred to Clint Eastwood's Secret Service Agent's character playing the song on the piano in the film.

  •  C554 C555 C556 C557                                                                          Four more new images to test your memory and skills.
  • C556 is obviously Meet Me in St Louis
  • C 554 - Misery (1990)...seeing that I was too late for Meet Me In St Louis.

Correct. I cannot make all the images too difficult to recognise. Meet Me in St. Lousi from 1944.
