Postage debacle
Has anyone been caught up in the international postage debacle prompted by Trump's tariffs? I rarely sell on eBay these days and when i do, I usually just list within Australia. But a US guy saw a Helter Skelter daybill and made a good offer on two copies, so I sold them. Now I can't ship them to him through Australia Post because he won't reduce the stated value to less than $100US. The only other options like UPS or FedEx I've never used and cost $100+ more than Aus Post. The ever-changing mess with the US tariffs is causing so much disruption and will have a negative impact not only on the likes of me but on US businesses. For example, if I wanted to send a package to Bruce to auction, I can't though my traditional postage method.

My suggestion would be to give the guy the option of which courier service he wants to use...its not your problem to solve for him if you dont offer US shipping.
I'll have to update any listing over $100 to exclude the US until this mess is sorted out.

I expect my work to end in the next year or two so will be looking to start downsizing my poster collection. Part of that will be opening up international audiences through consignments of the better stuff.
Thanks to the ignorance and insular policies of the toddler in chief, who knows if that will be possible. The example above from dedeposter shows how this isolation is already negatively impacting American businesses.
Ridiculous, as long as he and his are getting richer...all that matter I suspect.
