    Someone is a bit hopeful.

Also, saying "from the original first 1942  release of the film" is incorrect, albeit a minor point in this case the first release in Australia was 1944.
  • Just a tad.
  • Still good to know there is another copy out there.  I had no idea this one existed.

And a real shame that my budget is only $11,999.99 - shucks
  • Don't worry Chris. I'll throw in the rest of $$$ just for you if you really want it. :)
  • Chris! Good news! I'll front you the other $0.01, so now you're good to go.

    ;)

I see the ratings is a snipe , different from the one I have seen - anyone got pics of others?

Here's the same poster, one I photoshopped (so I could get a better look). I removed some of the blur, adjusted the curves, took out the coins and did a little lens correction, no colours were boosted in the making of this copy. :)

  • It's a great looking poster, one of the best looking daybills! Much more colourful than the US insert.
  • But is it over AUD$14K worth of poster?

There's a simple NSFGE hiding under the snipe (I would if the snipe points to this being reused at a later date?):

Bruce also sold one with a seemingly gigantic similar snipe:

I too wondered if it (the poster) was used at a later date or the classification changed after the initial print run - will need to investigate, just need my pipe and Deerstalker...

I saw Bruce's one before (different font and triangle shape), certainly a strange one both that design and the fact the same poster has two different snipes on it
  • The seller does tend to over-price things in the hope someone with too much money comes along
  • I had that same desire when I was selling my 1967 clapped out Mini some 30 years ago.
  • I had a 67 mini 30 years ago. It had a push button start next to the hand brake right?
  • image

It had the ignition key in the middle two toggle switches either side for the wipers and headlights. On the right was the push button pump for the windscreen water. I can't remember what the silver button on the left was for. Horn maybe?

God knows I love you Bogie. BUT the daybill doesn't do it for it. That rabbit teeth puts me off. Insert for me. That said. I will take this too. Drop off a couple of 00 hehe ;;)
