That's a rare one, congrats Matty. I saw that one on ebay, looked like a risky buy given the description from the seller. But looks like it payed off. Well done!
Thanks Reg, it's still not in the best condition and Peter didn't know whether it was glued to the cardboard or not. Given that I saw some rippling in the poster I took a chance that it wasn't. Turns out that only the top border was glued and now it will be given a second chance and be restored. Not to its former glory but it will be a another good example to the naysayers of linen backing.
Congrats Matt! - As with the others saw that one on eBay too.
I actually think that copy was first sold in January 2014 @ Woodland auctions in Victoria (I had to refrain from having a go at that time because of it being stuck on the board and the resultant shipping costs!)
For photobucket all you need to do is click on the html box under share links, it copies... Then on your post click the "</>" the one on the right and then paste (or "ctrl-v"), click the "</>" again to see a preview...
Can someone explain how we now post pics to the board..??? this is getting stupid.
Above the text box (where you type you message there are a set icons on the left side (little bitty teeny weeny pictures). Click the little icon 4th from the right (looks like a page with the corner turned down). A little box will pop up in the yellowish part where is says "URL" paste the URL where the image is hosted eg on Photobucket.
To copy a link from Photobucket:
A. In Photobucket if you have a gallery of images open
click the gear icon in the top right corner of the image, a pop up box will appear
on the right side of that box under Photo Links click in the box that says 'Direct' - your image is now copied
paste as instructed above
B. In Photobucket if you have a single image open
On the right side under Share Links click in the the box that says 'Direct' - your image is now copied top right corner of the image
paste as instructed above
WE PREFER IF YOU DO NOT (DO NOT) UPLOAD IMAGES FROM YOUR COMPUTER BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT RESIZED, ARE FAR TOO BIG (kb) AND TAKE TOO LONG TO LOAD ON A PAGE eg like Rick's images have above.
Congrats Charlie! I thought I threw some good paper against you, but yours was great! Thanks to all those who voted for me, i'm on to the loser's round!
