Upon some research it is supposedly from a Hollywood Stars Baseball Game in 1949.

Found this: Frank Sinatra on the field in 1947 at what would become an annual charity softball game between Sinatra’s Swooners and Andy Russell’s Sprouts.
Happy you are pleased, obviously went to the right home, it's certainly a special one, exceedingly rare and a great example of a quality Marchant print (now I'm starting to talk like Hondo!), and it's not based on any other poster design that I am aware of.
Are they specific mylar sleeves for Long and regular Daybills? Where from?
Grats, Liz was an absolute cutie in her day, Frank...mmmm not so much. Anything of her is good, and look on the bright side while you are not buying paper stills are generally cheaper and easier to store (and far easier to sneak past the wife!

Many many moons ago now, I got a whole bunch of mylar sleeves made to order...big enough to fit a QUAD in with some room to spare.
I use them mostly in my frames.
What I did when I got them was keep some aside at the original size, some I carefully cut into 3 which nicely fit the normal 13x30 daybills, and some I carefully cut in half which nicely fit the long daybills.
Later on I picked up some art folios with sleeves for the regular daybills which store nicely...so the sleeves I mainly use for the fragile stuff I don't want to get damaged, or as I said in the frames so I don't have to tape down the posters themselves which aren't backed.
It was going to be way too expensive to get sets made in each of the three sizes I wanted...One sheets just go into the sleeve as a whole...
Best money I ever spent. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth it.
Ahhh. Just wondered, there is a local crowd who will make any size to order (min orders apply) - I have a pile of one of their standard sizes that will easily take a 1SH on linen, I usually double up the daybills in those. I will get round to ordering some specific mylars for Daybills one day, sooner than later.
Ahhhh....indeed she is. George Washington Slept Here is on my want list. It was a very funny, entertaining movie, Sheridan is gorgeous opposite the hilarious Jack Benny!

Dad Rudd M..P. is definitely 1950's. Has the BEF style logo started in the early 1950's. I cannot be 100% certain but I believe the poster was printed for an Australian 1954 re-release.

No wasn't them...I remember thinking at the time it was bloody difficult getting anything for a half decent price!
