  • Good thinking but U. S. air force late 1950's confusingly drawn.

  • F9F-3 Panther ?
  • Don't know. U.S. artwork for same film. Australian daybill artwork would have been inspired by this image or something similar.

  • I was going to say Super Sabre but the tail is throwing me...
  • Close F104 Starfighter...
  • Air Cadet? ...F-107? Quite a few possibilities if poor artwork in play ..

Here is the answer.in the form of a U.K. quad. Sorry after a lot of research I haven't been able to establish the type of plane it is supposed to be All I can say is the film was partly filmed at the Edwards ( Muroc ) air force base in California. The film was released in 1958 and was directed by the actor Helmut Dantine.

  • Just thinking this would be as nice quad for quad collectors to have in their collection.

  • So it's a Starfighter???
  • Two images still there from a the same film set during World War one. One obvious ( to me anyhow ) and one other that doesn't remotely help and in this particular case you have to identify the actress after you identify the obvious image. Good luckj.

  • Bottom left World War Two. We are talking low budget movie here.

It took me ages to work this one out but I have come up with this title having  been the inspiration. Right period 1957 to 1960. It was a 1959 release in the U.S.A.

Another clue -  a remake of a well know 1930's film now in public domain.

  • Well, I don't think I would got that one. Certainly the helmets match Blood and Steel for sure.
  • And the explosion.

    Hondo

  • Oh yeah both titles have the explosion.

The incorrect Regalscope. Regal films made a lot of westerns.
