Matt, the chair isn't Ikea but from a finish it yourself store in New Orleans. And the cat tree takes up a lot of room, but hey, it's the cats and they rule. Here in Deutschland most of the construction is stone/cement/brick so extra insulation is a must .
David, I have some space left but I'm saving it for really great posters .
Ves, you are right on. I have plans to build another short book case and two taller display cases for added poster display space making an island in the room. The tall cases will be fronted by a half sheet and a one sheet (or so goes the grand plan). .
I now have a small desk in my office just so I can make room for the cat-tree, which has slowly morphed over the years into some sort of Frankenstein monster...

My guys are staring at the wonders of "Frankentree". And I quote, "MEOW!"
Got to decorate the study on the week-end, still got a bit more filing/putting away to go but sadly with the downsize of house is a loss of my 'poster room' (aka spare bedroom), so it (almost) all has to go into the study - I'll get used to it no doubt.
Well it took me a little over 4 months to complete the circle-but I finally brought home the first poster I linenbacked, framed. I recently discovered that a co-worker's son-in-law owns a local frame shop. He did a very nice job & I couldn't be happier with the results! It makes all the hard work worth it! Granted it's not The Searchers...it's Jimmy Stewart!

I spot an Ikea chair, only saying that because I have the same one at my place and a Cat scratching post.
I'm guessing you don't have any insulation in your house Lyn? That's what the posters, LC's, stills and photos are for?

Now that's getting all a bit catty...
Top marks
Its just a one-inch black wood frame, with spacers to keep the poster off the glass, but I'm quite excited to finally get this piece up!
Next up for framing will be my Danish, My Fair Lady, which is going to get backed in the next week or two as a birthday gift.
neat oversize chess pieces!
