I don't get it? What reason do you have to doubt that someone loved it enough to copy it onto canvas?
I'm no artist by any means, but hubby is quite talented and has ripped off a couple of original pieces for us to hand in the house. If I put them side by side, you would struggle to tell the difference...
There were a ton of these around 15 to 20 years ago. Someone hired several South American "starving artists" to recreate them on canvas with paint. They were offered for around $300 each back then.
They are quite nice, but I can't see them rising in price.

Once upon a time, in far away Kingdom....someone "offered" me the Italian locandina at a very, very, very, did i say very? Very good price. You know, the one locandina with art by a guy called Martinati with Bogart looking like uhm....
I couldn't buy it at the time. And now is gone. And yes, I will regret it "all melife" ..
Incidentally...HA is breaking its own Casablanca offerings PB. On top of all the Italians, the daybill, they also have the US OS, just waiting for the insert, now...
I see full previews are now available for EMP march mini major.. for the aussi paper, mantis and mole people one sheets. I thought there may have been a little more. All good i still love EMP!!!
OK, I had to laugh. I've seen gimmicks but this is gimmick marketing at its best, I thought for a second it was the 1970s all over again! A giant fridge magnet?!
Now bring back those bloody T-shirts, my lot are starting to get very very very worn...(someone needs to start a thread called: Bring Back the EMP T Shirt 'Cause Mine is Worn Out).

As much as I do like the Daybill I think this is far better. Then comes the daybill, then perhaps the 1SH...
Similarly the US 3 Sheet for this title kicks ass, the daybill being the poorer (smaller) cousin. That said, it's not a bad 1SH
I've always been a leg man...
What...a 6th copy of each not good enough for you?
