  • Ahhhhhh...need  a giant heart emoticon....and an event giant-er bank account.

Casablanca is an odd film. I find Ilsa so incredibly dull and boring, in contrast all the male characters are  irresistible,  Rick, Ferrari, Renoir and Laszlo.

  • Does anyone know what is the consignor fee in HA? I just wondered how much of that fat cheque will go to the owner.
  • 20%-25%
  • Daaaamn, the Cassie Spanish 1S blows away the Italian 1946 IMO! And relatively cheap at 6K...

  • The super-rare R versions of ACO are cool as hell, although you couldn't pay me enough to watch such a sicko movie:

  • Someone vital seems to be missing from that poster hmmm...

  • Does this look faded to y'all? I'd love to add it to my VL collection, especially since it's a small fraction of the $1S:

Heritage is pleased to present the Style B half sheet for this iconic film. Touchup was applied to the folds, small chips in the top and bottom border, Lake's face, and the white lettering at the bottom. A bit of horizontal and vertical creasing is still visible. The result of careful restoration is a highly attractive poster that will surely enhance any collection. Fine on Paper.

Agreed, i saw it once, that was enough. -not my cup of tea.

Dunno, those giant heads put me off, hell I even get a fright when I see my own in the mirror...

Um....er....gulp...Well nothing has changed since the 1920s. One of my favorite cheeseball rockers claims in his autobiography that he "enjoyed the affections" of 75+ female fans PER WEEK for years while on tour in the 1970/80s. He looks and acts 20 years younger than his actual age, unlike Bogie who died young and looked old as dirt by the end....

But addressing your MP Q, I consider it an early character poster.

This is not the one for me. I dont find the design attractive ....nor IB  =) but I can understand you might like it.

  • The 3S is "perhaps" the best art from ST?

    QUIT SMOKING CRACK,Mr. HA writer!

  • I like the one sheet more.
  • Must be a legs man
  • Veronica Lake is yummy...
  • Yup...my vote is for the 1SH. Just.
  • Interesting the way Heritage described the resto on both Metro pieces. Copyright info missing yet they knew what to do?
  • Yesss interesting indeed

Don't think it will slow the bidding somehow.
  • Nothing to see here people....just keep moving....

  • The bids on the two Metropolis daybills are slowly creeping up. Robot style $ 17.000 and flood style trailing behind, as expected, with $10,000
  • Batman daybill going nuts at EMP!

    Link...I'm too lazy to find
  • OK I looked....

  • An old-fashioned bidding war. And THREE bidders over two grand!

Here is a handy checklist to help tell eMoviePoster.com apart from all other major auctions!
HAS lifetime guarantees on every item - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS unrestored and unenhanced images - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS 100% honest condition descriptions - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS auctions where the winner is the higher of two real bidders - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS "buyers premiums" - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "reserves or starts over $1 - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS hidden bidder IDs - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS no customer service to speak of - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "nosebleed" shipping charges - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS inadequate packaging - NOT eMoviePoster.com
