  • Super cool Paul especially the Invis Man. Is that last one a Day-Glo?
  • No, unfortunately not...

  • Hondo, Eros basically released anything they thought they could make money on. They did release some new stuff and from the UK, Behemoth the sea monster, and Blood of the Vampire come to mind. As much as they were mainly Horror/Sci-fi, the did release stuff from other genres..
  • Speaking of quads, I think this one is very rare ...

The British World War 11 first release film Battle Of The V1 springs to mind. Do you have the quad?
  • No, bid on it twice, but no luck..

  • I hope Sniper Reid  doesn't gun me down on this beauty!
1936 prog with Helen Twelvetrees - first Hollywood star to make a talkie in Australia.

  • Hope you secure it Mark as any paper on this film is extremely hard to find.

I already have it. Just hoping JR hasn't seen one before. I know he has a herald.
I don't believe any posters have ever been seen.
    Ves has some nice clippings.

     :D
  • Shop Around the Corner Long Daybill could be an only copy. This one is sadly not mine.

  • That's nice Sven

PS - Make it yours!  ;)
  • When I first looked at that long one I thought it was two posters pieced together.  WTF is going on with her name!
Anywho, now I can see it is a loverly poster.
  • It's a very wordy daybill. More artwork would have been nice!  Still a lovely one though.
  • This Mark of Zorro daybill might be an only known copy (the same poster also appeared at HA) ...

Has anyone seen another daybill for this one? It could be a candidate for an only known copy.....

I have never seen this one before and in fact it is the first and only daybill that I recollect ever seeing from the Australian theatrical distributor 14th Mandolin who were very active in the 1970's and 1980's. Pancho have you seen any others? Interestingly the film was passed by the censor in 1977 and was rated with only an M rating and again the 14th Mandolin videotape release was again rated only M in 1984.
I have a few 14th Mandolin daybills - the ones that immediately spring to mind are: Loves of a Nympho, The Hooker Convention and Myra, Sweet Myra.
  • Here's a possible only known copy. Haven't been a able to locate another in my searching, but am hoping that @Hondo and other Daybill experts can confirm.

    Her Adventurous Night.

  • That's some great daybill art Mark! (even if it is sappy, romantic mush ;) )

Oh i agree! Sappy is right, but the colors and art is very nice! It responded well to linenbacking so i'll likely keep it.  :)
  • :grimacing: not the same copy....down in flames....

Sorry about that but it still is exceptionally rare.
