    Yeah nice topic Mark......

    Ok I've got about 4,5, 6...let me check....7...maybe 6

  • It's the only one I've seen:

For The Term Of His Natural Life Australian Long Daybill

  • The Hunchback Of Notre Dame Long Daybill:
I've not seen another (though I suspect there is probably another (at least) out there somewhere)

  • Great thread, Mark! Don't think i have any but i'll look.

Rear Window is sweet! as is the Long DB, Ves!

    Agreed!
  • I thought your Fistful was Spanish, but see it's Moroccan.
I can't imagine that there would be too many Moroccan posters about????
  • Awesome posters and a collector's dream to own what is possibly the only copy left on the planet!!
Knowing the calibre of members on VMPF there should be plenty more to come.
  • Gee Ves and Charlie. Great posters, wish I had them.

Guns of Navarone Australian one sheet

    Wake Island Daybill

Prince and the Showgirl Australian one sheet

    Thanks Mark!

  • Prince & Show came from Regal auction in '76. A real treasure for any MM fan.
I've seen another "pillars" style of Aust 1sht for Guns of Nav, but not that one.
    Great pastel colours on Wake.

  • I just love the Wake Island daybill. For anyone that may be interested there was an image om Google many years ago, which appears to have now vanished, of a Wake Island wartime 10 x 30 duotone daybill. It was also produced for the original release as a second printing no doubt, by Richardson Studio. It may well be the only copy possibly existing or at the very least sighted. Interestingly both the full colour and the duotone posters are without any Australian censorship ratings.
  • Is this the one you were referring to Lawrence?

  • Wake Island is  :o

hey!....I think I might actually have one!
  •
Thanks John for providing the duotone image. Yes I am sure this was the one that I had sighted previously, due to the missing paper. Is this the only one you have had or seen?
  • Loving the aussie Prince and the Showgirl.  Nice poster Matt!
  • Make Haste to Live- Daybill....I'm going off of Lawrence's info that this one is the only known copy.

  • Ok. Think I've got one more. I'm not the best at researching so I'll go down in flames if need be.  =)

Bulgarian-Joe Smith American starring Robert Young.

  • Oh that's lovely!
  • Nice one Mark!

Yes, that's the only one I have seen.
  • I'll throw this up (which was already discussed):

I've not seen other copies of these (but would love to know if more are out there...)

  • A couple from the non-Aussie vault:

  • Green Mansions Australian one sheet

    In Which We Serve Daybill

  • Wow Chris, stylish ones at that!
  • In Which We Serve Daybill

I also have In Which We Serve but it is very rare.
