Been sick most of this week so finally getting back into the swing of things and seems I missed so much goodness. Good to see the 3 sheet made it home! Looking forward to seeing it up.
Those Thrill Hungry Teens! Will they never learn! Really like the lobby card for What Price Innocence...what era?
I loves me some early exploitation/sexploitation when I can find it, and here's a lobby that will do nicely:
I would say this What Price Innocence lobby is late 1930s or very early 1940s for a 1933 movie.
Why? It is not original, because it s a Columbia movie, and I say late 1930s or very early 1940s, because Betty Grable is now billed second, and originally she was billed fifth, as seen here:
Here is a handy checklist to help tell eMoviePoster.com apart from all other major auctions!
HAS lifetime guarantees on every item - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS unrestored and unenhanced images - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS 100% honest condition descriptions - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS auctions where the winner is the higher of two real bidders - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS "buyers premiums" - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "reserves or starts over $1 - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS hidden bidder IDs - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS no customer service to speak of - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "nosebleed" shipping charges - NOT eMoviePoster.com
Thanks for the extra info, Bruce. I suspected RR as well, but I know little about accurately dating lobbies, so the original release date was the best answer I could provide. Would an original release lobby have been in color like the slide or the 1 sheet, or would black and white have been normal for low budget stuff like this?

Columbia DID do some duotone lobbies on low budget movies, so it could go either way. We will have to wait for one to surface to know for sure.

Here is a couple of rare items I picked up from Captain Movieposter last night.
First, another African Queen, for Rosa's benefit
Then a rare bit from the silent era with Mary Pickford
Finally, one more title card from an MGM classic musical. I'm starting a thread for these because youall went off and named me the singing dancing fool
Wow, those are great lobbies! I'm partial to the Pickford as well, but nice choices overall!
Here's yet another new one for me. It's a bit out of character for me, as I generally collect very little past the 50's, and also don't actively collect later grindhouse and adult film material. However, I do have a soft spot for posters advertising movies in 3D, and this one was so over the top with it's campy 3D-ishness, I finally pulled the trigger. It has a couple of condition issues, but it was a nice price, so it's all good. I sheepishly present to you:

Hounds of love is unique... What is that film about?
Haven't seen it, but apparently:
Vicki Maloney is randomly abducted from a suburban street by a disturbed couple. As she observes the dynamic between her captors she quickly realises she must drive a wedge between them if she is to survive.
I know BOAR is doing the rounds at the moment...lots of who-ha...anyone seen it? A Razorback try hard or any good?

You know Rick, I was waiting for Ves's response because I was wondering about all the garage sales in Warrnambool that have Cinema related material???
One Frightened Night is wonderful! Love 30's artwork & use of colors! Was following that one last week!
