The 2018 "Vancouver Discovery"! 11 1920s MPs found under floorboard
These 11 1920 MPs were actually found under an old hardwood floor in a house in Vancouver BC that was being demolished some years ago. eBay seller historystorecanada purchased these posters from the salvager who personally found and carefully removed these rare posters as he removed the old hardwood floor piece by piece. The holes, tears and cut marks in the poster are from the hard wood floor being installed and nailed through the posters once the flooring was laid out and installed overtop.

Hi Guys,
We had lots of discoveries over the years in Vancouver.
I got a really great one, about 10/12 years ago??
I was out looking for Vintage Art Deco door knobs in what I would describe as a store owned by a Hoarder.
I had a hard time get through the front door.
Make a long story short.
Obviously we start talking about why do we collect at this mad capacity.
When he found out I collect movie posters, he wanted to show some stuff that his brother ( in construction ) had found in a old house reno.
There were several pieces, 3 sheet and 6 sheets.
All horrible shape and not very exciting graphically.
Except,
There was this 6 sheet and I was not sure at what I was looking at first, but I wanted it.
Took it home and it came to me.
A 6 sheet "Daredevil" Jack with Jack Dempsey riding a horse punching the bad guy trying to rescue a damsel in distress on the other horse.
Such vivid color and tons of velocity the two sprinting horses. Just amazing image and not that bad of a shape.
I ended up selling it pretty fast. It went to a dealer that probably flipped it to.
I wish I had an image to show, but I don't. Kind of wish I kept it as well.
Cheers,
dario.
