Seeing the previous two images were answered so quickly, I have decided to include two more entries for those that missed out in getting to respond. No connection between the two films.

  • Elisha Cook, Jr. had his first major role in The Devil is Driving after a handful of minor appearances. He played the son of a rich man who keeps driving drunk, and he uses his father's influence to get him out of every jam, and then he kills an old lady while driving drunk, and his father helps him yet again, but the District Attorney who has helped the father get his son out of jams realizes the error of his ways, and teams up with a beautiful newspaper reporter to see that justice is done.

He is prominently pictured on the style A one-sheet (see https://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archiveitem/9467769.html). The style B one-sheet is MUCH more valuable because it has a great image that has nothing to do with the movie; see https://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archiveitem/14619531.html).

Interesting, and thanks for sharing. Unfortunately your two links only produce the following wording. ''You are likely to view a page that no longer exists." The two images you mentioned follow below.

U.S.A one sheet Style A, followed by U.S.A. one sheet style B.

Interestingly the U.S.A, insert features  an image of the non credited Elisha Cook, Jr. twice.

  •  C183  C184

Two more images to be identified. No connection with each other. A couple of extra mid week entries.

Actually Lawrence, I was referring to the THIRD style one-sheet (very odd for Columbia!), "the flaming youth" style, seen at https://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archiveitem/5186723.html

And my links did not work because the close parenthesis got caught up in the link

  • Bruce, the fact that you had mentioned style B and not the third style is what I was working on. All sorted now.
  • ok, gave you guys a chance.
    C183 Outlaw Josey Wales
  • ok, gave you guys a chance.
    C183 Outlaw Josey Wales
Correct. The Outlaw Josey Wales from 1976.

  •  Clues for C184 are that it is a biographical film that was awarded an Academy Award for the actress seen of the right of the image. .
  • I recognised John Vernon in Outlaw Josey Wales, just too late to the party.

It is indeed I Want To Live! from 1958. Susan Hayward received a Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of real life  Barbara Graham. She was sentenced to death for murder, and executed in a gas chamber.

  •  C185   C186  C187

Three new images this time around that shouldn't present a problem in identifying. There is no connection between the three films,
  • C185 is The Court Jester.  Danny Kaye at his best
