  • I also like it when I realise there's a connection or theme with the photos.

  • Thanks to all those who responded to my request for thoughts regarding the makeup of my quizzes. Your comments were helpful and appreciated, and they have encouraged me to continue with business as usual in the future using a similar balance of easy to hard to determine images.

Although you may struggle Rick you do come up with some answers from time to time and this is appreciated.

    Some new images soon.
  •   C423    C424
Back with two more film images that hopefully will be correctly answered.
  • C424 Breaker Moran’s 1980?

    Peter
  • C424 Breaker Moran’s 1980?
Yes it is the Australian classic film Breaker Morant.

  • 423 is Home of the Brave from 1949.  Recall seeing this as the 4 o'clock movie back in the 1960s.

BTW, been missing a bit lately working on a project, but wanted to echo that I like the mix of quizzes you post.  I kinda like having to dig for them
  • I also prefer it if you can't find the image through a Google image search, takes the fun out of it if that's what you rely on.

    Correct.

'This movie was called ''the first picture dealing with antI-Negro prejudice by the ''Motion Picture Herald'' ( IMDb ).

Thanks for your comments and continued participation in my quizzes. Most appreciated.

    !!

I do try to find more harder to locate images to use.

Guilty as charged, but to be fair its my last resort if no one answers...
  •   C425 C426 C427
Three more film images with something in common to have a think about.
One of the three films most likely should prove to be a problem in being able able to work out the answer for it.
  • I admit to using image search as a tool, but it is more fun when I use it creatively.  Not going to tell all my tricks, but images tied to keywords is one that can do wonders
  • Haven't we seen 425 somewhere in these quizzes?

Yes we have, and you got to answer it to. Another one I had not realised that I have previously included it here.

I will have to tighten up with checking procedure. In the meantime anyone who doesn't remember seeing it previously I will leave it open here to be answered.

I wouldn't bother Lawrence.  You work so hard, you cant possibly remember them all...please don't take the comments as a criticism, as they are not.  Some images just stick in our minds for whatever reason.  I think if we have answered them before let's just give others a go, and if there are no takers can jump in...

Thanks Ves,  I do appreciate your kind words and advice.

I have checked the remaining C426 and C427 though, and they are definitely first timers here.

Sorry, wasn't trying to be critical.  I started to answer and then remembered answering it.

Dups don't really matter if they still let others play.  As Ves said, just don't answer a second time

This easlier clue was perhaps a little obscure so I will expand it

The clue is this actress appeared in an earlier film with a magnificent actor.
  • Too hard for me I'm afraid!

Definitely my final assist for C246 is that the clue magnificent had referred to The Magnificent Seven.
  • As I had originally thought it would be the case C427 has proven to be too difficult to solve. I will now reveal the film to be a little known today British gem. The film created a little controversy in 1952 as the plot concerned a love affair between an older Nazi officer and a much younger Belgium woman in occupied Belgium.
