  • C435 is 1917 (2019). Clever film.
Correct. Yes it is a beautifully crafted film deserving all the awards it received.

  • As mentioned earlier the yet unanswered C436 has a strong connection with the already answered C435.
  • I found the image several times as historical archive and in an article describing how 1917 was based on fact.  Some sort of documentary?

     C436
Some good detective work and thinking, but unfortunately not correct. The above image was used on a U.K. film poster to promote this war drama film. The image is misleading as the film in question isn't a documentary in any way.
  • Could it be Gallipoli?

Sorry not that film. A clue is a British made film directed by an American.
  • C436 King and Country
  • C436 King and Country
Correct King & Country from 1964. I am thinking that this scene image was used sometime in the film, possibly during the credits.

  • That was a hard one!

    Peter

  • This image section of the scene definitely appears in the film. It follows after the completion of the opening credits.

    C440 Hombre

Correct. Hombre from 1966 ( also credited by some sources as being 1967 ).

Barbara Rush and the great character actor Frank Silvera are pictured in my earlier posted image.)

  • C439 clue is popular MGM  vs 20th Century Fox stars appear in the gunfight scene.

  • Another C439 clue is blue denim jackets were favourite attire worn on western films by one of the starring actors.

  • For any western fans the above C439 pictured actor was known to wear this style of jacket in a lot of his western films.
  • A final clue for C439 is that the actor previously mentioned made a sensational film debut in the 1940s.
  • The Law and Jake wade, but I cheated.
  • The Law and Jake wade, but I cheated.
Correct for C439. The Law And Jake Wade from 1958. My clues were of course aimed for Richard Widmark, Good western with a great cast.

I really don't mind if you research the answers Ves. It gets to expand your knowledge and gives me the answers I am after.
