  • I knew Ginger's legs, but not the movie. She had remarkable legs, on a par with ANY other great dancer!

Another clue is feuded long term with another screen legend.
  • The clues would point to Bette Davis, but beyond that I've got nothing.

On the right track, with Bette Davis having been the last clue.
  • I didn't pick Joan Crawford because she only made 1 appearance in the 1970s.  However I did search many of her images and didn't see a match.
  • O. k. let's now finalise 377.The answer is Joan Crawford from Dancing Lady (1933) as seen below appearing on the following two posters.

Not wild guesses, but they are spot on correct answers for both films.

You didn't name the actresses though Bruce, but I am positive you know them to be Olivia Newton-John and Vanessa Redgrave

    379 is Grease from 1978.

    380 is Blow-Up from 1966.
  • I have seen images like these SO many times that they are burned into my retinas! I meant "wild" in that I just went on my first hunch, from subliminal memory of them.

Now if only I could do the same when remembering where I put my keys, or where in the lot I parked my car!

Similar here as well through my long term film research poster information readings and image sightings of film material. This along with remembering some scenes from previous viewings of certain films that my memory has captured and retained a lot of film related material,

On the other hand though my memory regarding some everyday non film related things often not so good.
  •   381  382
Let's see how you fare with these two?
  • 381 Gina Lollobrigida in Solomon and Sheba (naked bathtub scenes stick in my mind)

I am guessing 382 is Raquel Welch in Bedazzled (as Lust)

  • Damn, Bruce beat me both of them.
I used to go to the kiddie matinee on Saturday afternoons.  My parents worked until 6 and would pick me up, but the show would change to the feature at 5.  One weekend the feature was Solomon and Sheba, and that bathtub scene made a lasting impression on the 11 yo me.

Both are correct Bruce. You are having a good run of correct answers of late.

    Solomon And Sheeba (1959)

    Bedazzled from 1967.
  • Both Bruce and Jayn have indicated that they remembered the bathtub scene featuring Gina Lollobrigida in Solomon And Sheba.

With me I remember a different major big budget Hollywood film altogether, with this film having a huge bathtub scene with six women being involved.. Not a classic film by any means, but it does fit in here nicely at this time, so I am including it here now as a one off additional image that hopefully can be solved. No actress to be named this time only the film's title. Once named I will talk a little more about it.

Remember it isn't a film that was rated highly by the critics.  The following is a small more discreet selected image of the larger scene that appeared in the film. The bathtub scene wasn't shown in the film in all countries when screened around the world.

Quick work to locate and identify it.

In the above posted scene are Telly Savalas and Woody Strode.

This explicit scene was shot with topless women and included and shown  in the European screenings as well as in Australia. Not sure how New Zealand film censors would have accepted it though due to their strong stand on nudity appearing on screen at the time. It would be interesting to know.

In the U.S.A. I believe the scene was removed from the film when screened there.

Having viewed the film as a young person when it was originally released in Australian cinemas, I clearly remember the explicit topless nudity      which normally was a no no, and not allowed on Australian. screens then.

Interestingly as seen on the following poster images appearing below the UK censorship was an R certificate,, but very surprisingly in Australia it was only awarded a mild Not Suitable For Children certificate.

I do remember some audible gasps coming from two elderly ladies in the Audience during the beginning of this bathtub scene,

One last thing is that in the below UK scene card a poster artist has added a small cover up garment top to the woman seen romping with Telly Savalas..

In New Zealand the following censorship took place regarding the bath scene.

There were five sections in the film where incisions were instructed  by the N.Z, film censor to take place to have the film granted a Y certificate.

At the time, a ''y'' rating meant the film was recommended as suitable for people aged 13 and over. Under today's Act, this equates to a ''PG'' (Parental Guidance) rating recommended for younger viewers. This film also has a content warning for violence.

One of the five incisions was to ''Delete scene of bare breasted women bathing with men''.

The New Zealand running time was 122 minutes and 26 seconds

The Australian running time including the bathtub scene being 127 minutes.  (The Australian trade publication The Film Weekly yearbook).

The Blue ray advertised on Google lists the running time as being 127minutes. I am certain the television prints are minus the bathtub scene though. Interestingly the film was classified PG in 1985 by the Australian film censor on videotape as running only 12O minutes.

A thank you to the New Zealand Classification Office for kindly supplying me with all the information included above,

    No ideas to their identities?

I had thought that while 384 may prove to be difficult, I was also thinking that 383 would be easily recognised.

Swimsuit looks right, but not the hair.
