The often underrated director (and writer) Alexander Mackendrick also directed four other excellent Ealing films before The Ladykillers These being Whiskey Galore!, The Man In The White Suit, Mandy and The Maggie. In the very late 1950's he directed in the U.S.A. one of my favourite films Sweet Smell Of Success, His 1960's films weren't as good as his 1950's work.
So not to neglect the western fans a couple of images from two classic western movies. Hopefully these two film scenes will be recognised. I do have a feeling that this will be the case.

Your latest challengers.

I will reveal the answer tomorrow if the answer isn't forthcoming by then. The clue is musical.
The C595 film in question that I will now reveal is Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory from 1971.

A clue then is there were eight.
