Thanks for those, as we've seen time and time again on this forum - daybills are not always the most accurate of documents!
I also think that in that original newspaper ad there could also have been a correction by whoever was doing the typesetting (some pimply faced apprentice no doubt!), they may have thought there was a spelling mistake in the original copy, so changed color to colour.

You well could be correct with your thinking about the ad spelling correction.
There is also another word on the ad that is incorrectly applied, along with something else a little out of place. Any thoughts?
The two remaining problems not yet recognised on the advertisment are now revealed below.
Hitler's Madmen as appearing printed on the ad should have been shown as Hitler's Madman as printed on the Australian daybill..
An error also on the daybill. Any idea?
Secondly The Mad Ghoul advertised as being part of a family night screening is rated as being '' A Horror Film Suitable Only For Adults''. Of course a horror film was well suited for a family night screening.
A Hitler's Madman title lobby card is currently up for sale on eBay advertised by the seller as being Hitler's Madmen.
The madman in the title refers to Reinhard Heydrich who was a high ranking German SS and police officer during the Nazi era in World War 11. He was the principal architect of the Holocaust Reinhardt Heydrich was played in the film by actor John Carradine.
There is something else of interest yet to be revealed regarding Hitler's Madman. It will be covered on another forum thread soon. I will inform you here when this takes place..

Not mine, was posted by its owner in a facebook group but thought I would share here...I've not seen one before so thought perhaps neither had some others.
The attractive Australian daybill has been available in the market place for many years The Australian one sheet on the other hand is a very rare poster. I have an image of a similar one sheet I obtained a very long time ago.
just added to the Where Are These Daybill thread regarding Hitler's Madman that was recently discussed here on this thread between September 4th and 11th. This information that may be of interest to you.

Just spotted on IMDB is the following image of a trimmed poster that would appear to be that of an Australian one sheert

The similar U.S.A, printed version of the Australian one sheet design had some censorship problems in Canada when first used there.
