I am just back from holidays and will need time to digest all this wonderful content I have missed...
-
(Quote) They were a free gift along with the t-shirt at the time. They all come signed by the director
-
Snowtown is a great film...performances from the two leads were amazing.
Must have had a tiny release here...I dunno why the posters are so scarce -
(Quote) Isnt this just about everyone on ebay these days
-
Shame. I was thinking of donating some of the rarer titles from my aussie cinema collection, but what's the point if they never get seen.
-
Surely there must be a way to get in via appointment to view them? Anyone done it before? I thought someone mentioned that they had for another reason?
-
(Quote) I really really hope this is an actual poster...much prefer it to the other one
-
Oh sorry I missed this completely...Weird and busy time of the year. I had to take a pause in my watching so not seen it yet. I'll have to take special note of the trains

(Quote) Yup! Great minds....

I googled 222 as i thought it was something else, and was completely wrong. I never would have gotten this one. Will leave it for those brighter than me to answer.

(Quote) NSFA did a series of commercial prints for a handful of these rare posters. They are tiny....I have one for this version of The Bounty and one for The Kid Stakes.
-
221 The Matrix

I did a google image search, hence the cheating...and it popped up being attributed to Colditz...I did no more digging to confirm, as I normally do unfortunately...so after I posted, a kind birdy informed me I was incorrect!
-
I have been corrected...434 Immortal Sergeant
-
433 Moon is Down (never heard of it)
434 The Colditz Story
But I had to cheat for both...had no idea! -
Nothing to contribute, but finding this all very interesting!
-
Postage to and from the US but especially from is ridiculous...pretty soon wont be able to buy or sell anything to them.
-
oh nevermind...its missing distributor details that are on the RR...carry on
-
(Quote) I think the faded one is the later NSFA rerelease from the 70s I think?:

(Quote) I LOVE the simplicity of this one. The pick for me!

Linenbacking and restoration definately have their place. I've had and have several posters which you can't handle without a bit coming off.
If there is MINIMAL (and I mean minimal) amounts of restoration needed to bring the poster back … -
Gosh, I would love to get a good look at the press sheet...and those are some lovely stills.
As part of the restoration of the film, the team used some stills to fill in the parts that were missing or too damaged to keep the original feel of th… -
It was wonderful. My other half also enjoyed it (which surprised us both).
There was a pre-show by the orchestra which was fantastic, even consisting of a 1920s drum kit. They even had the mics tuned to that 20s tinny sound. So great! They … -
Your good at these Jay. Never would have picked that one!
-
322...is it one of those 70s or 80s chain horror films?
-
Gosh, love that db!. Recently saw the restored version of the 1927 film at the Captitol theatre in Melbourne. Loved it. So looking forward to this one!
-
I feel like 634 is a trick somehow....
-
(Quote) Yep, you got it! Love that movie. But of course we have to await Lawrence's final seal of agreement
