(Quote) yes to some degree, but not because I was wanting to pay that much. Factually, I had some additional information & knew who I was going to be up against and after it became obvious I wasn't going to win, I plainly drove him up
that makes a huge difference. The population of all the New England states (or less actually) over a land mass the size of the USA. You folks need to start looking out at the farther areas where there are more barns, outbuildings and lonely theatres…While Time to Kill & the High Window are both from the same Chandler novel (titled the High Window), the 1947 film is not at all a remake of the 1941 film, both of which are different adaptations.
This is however unlike the Falcon Tak…I haven't scanned the High Window yet. they just got here and the scanner broke last month, not yet replaced
I'll probably shoot photos this week though

what was the population of Australia & New Zealand in teh 1930s and what were the populations of the largest city in each?
slabbing oversized posters is never going to happen

if they aren't for export, then you have the mystery of a film for which there are 2 sets of UK FOH and even Phil was not aware of any such situation before, or at least one that he …(Quote) I'm not talking about the 'Cert A' at bottom right on the Time to Kill cards.
what I am refering to is the other corner. It looks like a small dot on the 2 cards shown (because the images are too small), in the bottom LEFT corner…(Quote) Pancho is shooting .500 with me. I agree this time. I would not remove it from the slab.

well, I haven't posted anything from my newer acquisitions in quite some time, seeing as I'm always so damned busy processing & selling posters these days, but I recently got some stuff you folks should enjoy
Until I got these, I had …(Quote) by the way, I do agree with this to some good extent. Comics were meant to be read. However I totally disagree with Pancho where he says
"No-one is buying comics from the 50s to read. There are plentiful reprints that can be obtained…actually, I would have preferred you just said "I don't think I can work on these 2 posters now Rich."
instead of screwing up one and destroying the other
that you actually thought you deserved remuneration for the work (work? …(Quote) so totally agree with this, especially when the so-called restorer can't chew what they have bitten off
hey, I have my own story of a linenbacker who has my posters for years. he was paid also.
I thought it was explained what I wanted sometime back, but the guy never lived up to his promises, I never got my posters nor my payment back - a t…POBox 30515

Charlie, you didn't understand one damned thing I said here. Instead you have painted yourself as the victim and with your further comments, all you did was show me you are useless. Insulting me because you're an asshole is not and never was a solut…golly Charlie, if there is a victim it is me.
there is no whirlwind, but now clearly you think somehow you've been mistreated or had something foisted upon you that you didn't deserve.
face it. you took on a job. You should have been…yeah Charlie.. Nice playing victim.
Charlie, I was hardly angry that you still have my posters. As a matter of fact, until you posted to the APF thread the other day, I had (temporarily) forgotten about them (again)
I wasn't worried about you ripping me off, but after I mes…(Quote) exactly
I have a number of British 3 sheets. Almost every one came from Australia, with a few coming from Phil who traded me some great silent posters with gambling themes
I've pointed Grey Smith to this thread and he'll read it later, though I'm not sure he'll join in to post.
simply said, if Heritage has sold a poster incorrectly described, they will happily refund the money to the buyer and take the item back.
