Clue is the film was originally released in 1942.
  •  The answer to # 100 is Went The Day Well? ( 1942). This film tells of how an English village is taken over by Nazi paratroopers during World War 11.

The main actor in this film wasn't clowning around this time.
  • #101- Strategic Air Command from 1955.
  • #101- Strategic Air Command from 1955.

Correct. My clue had referred to James Stewart and his role as ''Buttons'' a clown three years previously in The Greatest Show On Earth.

James Stewart above right in a real life pose as Brig. General James M. Stewart. He retired from the USAF Reserve on May 31, 1968 with that rank. He must have felt well and truly happy when filming Strategic Air Command.

Both answers correct. Downfall released in 2004 with a marvelous performance from Bruno Ganz portraying Adolph Hitler.

Great to have papergatherer involved now.
