One can view the full length film and the theatrical trailer on YouTube. Nice to see another war film fan.
Correct. My clue had referred to James Stewart and his role as ''Buttons'' a clown three years previously in The Greatest Show On Earth.
James Stewart above right in a real life pose as Brig. General James M. Stewart. He retired from the USAF Reserve on May 31, 1968 with that rank. He must have felt well and truly happy when filming Strategic Air Command.

103 - The Flying Missile 1950
I know the other one too but I can't put my finger on it.
Both answers correct. Downfall released in 2004 with a marvelous performance from Bruno Ganz portraying Adolph Hitler.
Great to have papergatherer involved now.
