Thanks Ves. Either you bought this from eMovieposter.com or there are two images in the same condition.
  • 4. Joan Crawford - Torch Song

Yes Torch Song from 1953 is correct.
  • Pretty sure it came from Bruce...
  • Image # 7. Name the film title. From a U.S. one sheet.
  • Very pleased as to the response to this thread. I thought it might go well and I am happy with how it is travelling.  I have some great images waiting to be posted. You have to love image # 7 that appears above.

Doesn't matter where you bought it, you own it - congrats!
  • #7

Betty Grable again, Wabash Avenue (1950)

It is indeed correct and you can't get enough of Betty Grable. The daybill of this film is different  but very nice also

Image # 8, Name the actress and the  film title. Remember the time of the year and I wonder who belongs to the pointing finger ? I know of course but do you ?

Image from a U.S. lobby card.

  • Image # 8 additional clue. One of the few actresses to have danced with both Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly in the movies.

    Cyd Charisse comes to mind
  • Debby Reynolds would be another
  • And Vera-Ellen the other
  • Can't think of any others
  • Judy Garland, Leslie Caron and Rita Hayworth also. The legs  in question belong is one of the six now mentioned actresses. This narrows it down considerably. Remember the time of year.
  • Probably Judy then...

You have eliminated one of the six.
  • Then Debby, she did a lot of those happy happy type musicals

    Down to four.
  • Image # 8.The film is from the 1950s. The pointing finger on the left of the posted image belongs to a very well known actor.
  •  I would like to finalise image # 8 before Christmas if possible. The image above isn't from the film but it contains clues.
