Image # 33 is Julia Roberts in  Pretty Woman ( 1990 ). Your image is exactly the same as the Australian daybill and Australian one sheet but they both have white backgrounds. Out of curiosity what poster source where did your image come from?
  • Image # 37 is Ava Gardner in the 1957 film The Little Hut. Image same as on a U.S. insert.

    #26

    Basic Instinct 2 (2006)

    #31 Flirting (1991)

    #33

    Pretty Woman (1990)

(not all movie posters are Australian Lawrence)

  • No double points for Pretty Woman David. As I had already answered this one point only for the image.

Not fair David you have the unfair advantage of an office with the necessary facilities to rapidly post images

    Davids Office

    Svens Office

Some clues for my three unsolved images.

    # 14  Was a big star at Universal- International in the 1940s. This film from the 1950s.

    # 15  An MGM musical from the 1950s.

    # 22  Was a big star at 20th Century Fox in the 1940s. This film from RKO ( in Australia ) in the 1950s.

  • #15

    Les Girls (1957)

  • Correct. Double points again. It is a little difficult to work out from the artwork which actresses they depict. I think Kay Kendall is the one in the centre but as to which ones are Mitzi Gaynor and Taina Elg I am not sure.

I should clarify and say one version of the daybill is the most popular of re-release daybills.
  • #21 - DUnno how I missed it.

    Secretary (2002)

Still has me stumped and it makes me wonder why the many members who have the daybill version don't provide the answer as I am eager to know?
  • The daybills focus on her other assets, which also caused issues for censors in the US...
  •  Number 18 is of course The Outlaw starring Jane Russell whom I like very much. No too familiar with the U.S. one sheet but what was throwing me off was I thought it was someone dancing a flamenco dance or something similar. I can relax now.
  • You got it...have a good sleep now...
  • Thanks and bed is where I am heading right now.
  • #-17: Cover Girl? Rita Hayworth?
  • Mark shoots....and scores!  Well done :)
  • Any chance that we could see the original poster?
