True. Let us just say name the one film each house is most remembered for then.
  • I googled H - I've seen the latter movie many times but can't remember the house!
  • Far and away?

True. Let us just say name the one film each house is most remembered for then.

    G: Charlies angels 2
    H: Blade Runner

(among others.  Just google famous LA movie houses)
H: is a Frank Loyd Wright house.  G: by one of his students.

"Real Genius" starring the incomparable Val Kilmer!

-Good clue, Jay or I would have never gotten it. Had to do a little googling.
  • Ok. A final 5 before the Christmas holiday envelopes the world.
    138-not a house per se

    139-

[140- sorry couldn't find a more complete image of the house

    141-

    142-

Seeing no one else is going to answer. The Ptcture Of Dorian Gray ( 1945 ) version.

Clue for C.  A Hollywood legend appearing on the painting.

The answer for C is Broken Lance ( 1954 ), with the portrait being of  Matt Devereaux, the character that Spencer Tracy plays in the film. My how quickly do we forget our legends.
  • Haven't heard of or seen either of those two films...

All true. I had thought the two answers I would have received may have been The Big Lebowski ( 1998 ) for G and House on Haunted Hill ( 1959 ) for H, with the building also called the Frank Lloyd Wright's Ennis House. For another film also shot at the Ennis House I have included an image of Female ( 1933 ), that I thought all our car aficionados would like to see.

  •  # 139 is Mildred Pierce ( 1945 ).

  • #141: Patriot Games.  Wouldn't have guessed it if I hadn't watched it last night.
  • Correct Lawrence & Jay-
139-Mildred Pierce-one if my favorite noirs
    141-Patriot Games-Jack Ryan's home in the Chesapeake
  • Still left...140 is one of the greats!

  • I believe #142 is not a house either.
  • Correct-142 is a very large structure in Ohio, not a residence...per se.
  • !42 - The Shawshank Redemption ( 1994 ) ?
  • 142-Shawshank Redemption is correct, Lawrence.
