  • C321 - I was thinking Rocky (connection with Stallone?) but can't find the image.

  • C321 - I was thinking Rocky (connection with Stallone?) but can't find the image.
Not a Stallone movie. Think another big action movie star's films.
  • I was also thinking of Terminator but couldn't find that image either.

    320.  Rambo First Blood.  I can't understand a word he says in this movie but hubby loves it and watches it every time it's on the telly
Correct. First Blood from 1982. It would appear that you have watched it yourself Ves, at least once anyway.

Sylvester Stallone of course went on to make four more Rambo films.

Oh yes many times...but probably not the whole thing in one sitting for so long!
  • I was also thinking of Terminator but couldn't find that image either.
There is often discussion regarding the genre of this film that it is often included as being.
  •  C321
A final clue is this expanded version of my original posted image. This should have the answer forthcoming shortty.
  • Die Hard 1988

    Peter
  • Die Hard 1988

Yes the C321 answer is correct. Interestingly, to me anyway, the film is often included in Christmas movies lists.

  • Phew! Took a while...

    Peter

  •  C322  C323
Another two images of very well known films to have a think anout
  • C323 Beaches
    Correct. Beaches from 1988.

Good suggestion, but I will try another approach instead to seek out the answer.

A clue for the above film is with an additional image of the actress, now seen below in a rare film that she shared top billing in.

The poster that the following image is from is commonly seen in the market place.

Once you identify the film and the actress it should be clear sailing then to come the answer required here.

  •    C322
As Ves had earlier suggested I have now expanded the scene.
  • C322 rang a bell when I first saw it, and the expanded view clicked in my brain.

I am pretty certain it is Rebel Without a Cause

It certainly is Rebel Without A Cause from 1955.

Ann Doran  and Jim Backus ( Mr. Magoo ) played James Dean's parents, and appear below with him in this famous scene.

This role would be Ann Doran's best remembered role.

My above earlier posted image clue is from her major role in Joy Ride from 1958. A pretty image of her in her younger days.

  •  C324  C325
Two more images of well known films from the Golden Years Of Hollywood to be identified this time around.
  • C325 is Duck Soup.

    Correct. Duck Soup from 1933.

      (reverse image )

  •  C324
A clue for C324 is the mother of Elvis.
  • I had thought that C324 wouldn't have proven too difficult to answer, but one never knows.

To add to my earlier ''mother of Elvis'' clue, here is another one. The additional clue being '' the first of many''.

My final clue is that this film was responsible for one of the greatest screen combinations in Hollywood history to go on to have super stardom.
  • Gladys?

That was my thought too, but didn't give me any clues. Then I was thinking someone who played Elvis' mother in one of his films?

Spot on with your thinking that it could be an actress who played the mother of Elvis in one of his films.

This actress was the lead in the film I am referring to.
  • Angela Lansbury?

    Not Angela Lansbury.

The following image is of the actress who played the mother of Elvis Presley in a film. The image that I am presenting is from the elusive film that I am seeking the title of.

  • I think I have it. - Flying Down To Rio (1933) and the actress playing Elvis' mother - Dolores Del Rio in Flaming Star (1960)

    Peter
  • I think I have it. - Flying Down To Rio (1933) and the actress playing Elvis' mother - Dolores Del Rio in Flaming Star (1960)
    Correct for C324.

I had hoped the last image would help in finding the answer to a film that I had thought wouldn't have presented a problem.
