After five days and various clues it would appear that I have certainly stumped everyone with them not being able to answer C340 and C341.
O.k. then, the answers are as follows.
C340 is With a Song In My Heart (1952). Susan Hayward played the real life singer Jane Froman who swapped seats on an aircraft with another singer. The result of this kindness resulted in her being seriously injured, and the other singer being killed.
( Jane Froman )
C341 What's New Pussycat? (1965). In my posted image pictured on the far left is Capucine, and on the far right is Ursula Andress
The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964) - it was my first guess even though I haven't seen it (yet), and I did a quick search of the title and found the image above (not an image search - I didn't cheat).
Now I feel REALLY dumb. This is one of my most favorite movies ever, and the clue was a musical about unbrellas, and I STILL couldn't connect the dots!

I'll watch my Criterion BluRay on the weekend, need to start catching up on Classic films I've missed.
To catch up on viewing unseen classic films is always in my mind, but to actually do this doesn't always work out at the frequency of what I would like it to be.

I agree, I have so many film still in cellophane it's ridiculous! I like to try to aim for a couple each weekend, no time during the week. Usually something like and fluffy (musicals), and a drama or silent film. No point watching streaming services, they don't have the type of films I like.

How about these two then? One ot them has to be a gift.
C341 clue is two well known faces are to be seen in the image.
A biographical story that could have turned out differently had it not been for a simple act of kindness taking place.
Also definitely final clue for C341 is a James Bond connection.
If unanswered within 24 hours iI will then reveal the film titles.

I am really hoping that these two images this time around will be able to be recognised, or at least worked out.

Now let's see if you can work these three subject connected images,
A clue for C346 is that the film in question is a musical.
