  • Sadly you're right, Bruce.
  •  C340  C341
How about these two then? One ot them has to be a gift.
  • C340 clue is based on true events.

C341 clue is two well known faces are to be seen in the image.
  • I keep thinking c340 is from the opening of The FBI Story.  Can't find an image though.

An excellent guess, but sorry to say not correct though.

A biographical story that could have turned out differently had it not been for a simple act of kindness taking place.
  • A final clue for C340 is with the following image.

  • A  final clue for C341 is two top comedians together.
  • Definitely final clue this time for C340 is J.F.

Also definitely final clue for C341 is a James Bond connection.

If unanswered within 24 hours iI will then reveal the film titles.
  • After five days and various clues it would appear that I have certainly stumped everyone with them not being able to answer C340 and C341.

O.k. then, the answers are as follows.

C340 is With a Song In My Heart (1952). Susan Hayward played the real life singer Jane Froman who swapped seats on an aircraft with another singer. The result of this kindness resulted in her being seriously injured, and the other singer being killed.

      ( Jane Froman )

C341 What's New Pussycat? (1965). In my posted image pictured on the far left is Capucine, and on the far right is Ursula Andress

     C342  C343
I am really hoping that these two images this time around will be able to be recognised, or at least worked out.

I am surprised that the answers haven't yet been produced here for these two latest entries.

C243 is an unusual colour shot from the B&W Young Frankenstein (1974) - Marty Feldman is just to the left of the skull.

    Peter
  • C342 Silent Movie

  • C243 is an unusual colour shot from the B&W Young Frankenstein (1974) - Marty Feldman is just to the left of the skull.
Correct. One of my two Marty Feldman and Mel Brooks featured films.

    C342 Silent Movie
Correct. Silent Movie from 1976. It was a tossup between the image that I ended up using, and the following one from the film.

  • I love both those films.

    Peter
  • I love both those films.
    I do too.
  •  C344  C345  C346
Now let's see if you can work these three subject connected images,
  • C344 Ryan's Daughter
  • 345 lost in translation?

    C344 Ryan's Daughter
    Correct. Ryan's Daughter from 1970.

  • 345 lost in translation?
Yes C345 is Lost In Translation from 2003. Great movie.

  • A clue for C346 is that the film in question is a musical.
  • The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964) - it was my first guess even though I haven't seen it (yet), and I did a quick search of the title and found the image above (not an image search - I didn't cheat).

    Peter
  • Now I feel REALLY dumb. This is one of my most favorite movies ever, and the clue was a musical about unbrellas, and I STILL couldn't connect the dots!

Here is a handy checklist to help tell eMoviePoster.com apart from all other major auctions!

HAS no customer service to speak of - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "nosebleed" shipping charges - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS inadequate packaging - NOT eMoviePoster.com

  • I'll watch my Criterion BluRay on the weekend, need to start catching up on Classic films I've missed.

These things do happen from time to time.
  • I'll watch my Criterion BluRay on the weekend, need to start catching up on Classic films I've missed.
To catch up on viewing unseen classic films is always in my mind, but to actually do this doesn't always work out at the frequency of what I would like it to be.

I agree, I have so many film still in cellophane it's ridiculous! I like to try to aim for a couple each weekend, no time during the week. Usually something like and fluffy (musicals), and a drama or silent film. No point watching streaming services, they don't have the type of films I like.
