Did you get these posted by Aust Post/USPS or go for a courier like Fedex?
I was gutted to find that there is no more EMS :(
Instead I opted for something called Global Priority Express...which turned out to be Fedex delivery anywho...always go for the fastest method possible...less time in other peoples sometimes very idle hands!

  • OMG Audrey and the Red Shoe's is a killer.

Need some time to digest all these goodies.

    Congrats Snotty nose. ;)

Interesting Ves. Are you sure EMS not available or maybe package dimensions too large for EMS?

  • Nah not available.  Never used Priority Mail...any good?
They don't even offer EMS here in Aus anymore.  I used to use it to send my stuff off all the time.
It was bloody awesome.  Reasonable price and super quick!
They would send on say a Thursday and the thing would at my door Monday!  No joke...hurts me just thinking about it...

I thought EMS was Express Mail Service (EMS) which was https://auspost.com.au/sending/send-overseas/international-express ?

Anways for priority express from USA to Australia was around 6 business days

Oh wow that Global Priority sounds zippy fast!!!!! Must try!!!!! Maybe its this one https://www.usps.com/international/gxg.htm

  • International Courier is the aussie replacement for EMS...but is farmed out to whatever courier service THAT particular PO uses...so can be hit and miss.  I dunno, I used to go to the PO and ask for EMS...awesome/hands down winner!

GXG was the one I used this time...farmed out to Fedex...which if I had of taken the time to read the USPS site properly, I would have noted!
Was good...we had the public holiday here yesterday, so given that, I reckon I would have gotten it yesterday rather than today.

  • It's great to hear sooooo many goodies are safe and sound and restored. Win,win win!!!
  • OMG Ves, just a fabulous result for those! Stunning effor on the David Niven, specially as I remember well how bad it was.

But you have two that I have always wanted, Red Shoes and that New Morals for Old I have been hoping to find one day for several years I absolutely think it is amazing poster and will go well with my New York one...
  • Wonderful paper, Ves, and top results! Those long DB's are growing on me. My favorite among those above is New Morals for Old. It has such an Art Deco look to it! ....and maybe a little Prohibition .... :)

That muthaplucka has been on my hit list for ages!  Finally it be mine.

Along with the Godfather, which I forgot I had and was nice surprise when I went looking for the Affair to Remember OS.

  • Wonderful work done and all great looking posters Ves. You must be feeling over the moon with the poster results. What immediately struck me was how much better the Australian one sheet of Touch Of Evil is, compared to the Australian daybill artwork. Both posters designs by F. Cunninghame, my least liked Australian printer, but for once the artwork on the one sheet is well and truly above average for F.Cunninghame.

  • Great stuff, Ves! Affair, War of Worlds and of course, Touch of Evil are amazing!

Design on San Demetrio is really cool!
  • Wow stunning paper there Ves, specially that San Demetrio!
  • Just restored the insert for a guy.

Nice work Duke! Noticed this is under the Jaime Mendez thread, did you restore this for Jaime?
  • No, I restored for a customer in Ohio. Thanks for the nice words.
