I was pretty impressed with the entire auction (all parts). I admit I completely failed you daybill guys, but otherwise there was pretty much something for everyone!
Here is a handy checklist to help tell eMoviePoster.com apart from all other major auctions!
HAS lifetime guarantees on every item - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS unrestored and unenhanced images - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS 100% honest condition descriptions - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS auctions where the winner is the higher of two real bidders - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS "buyers premiums" - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "reserves or starts over $1 - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS hidden bidder IDs - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS no customer service to speak of - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "nosebleed" shipping charges - NOT eMoviePoster.com
I also thought it would go higher, specially given the absolute scarcity. As my fellow collectors said, probably the impossibility of proper display was a factor in the price (as usually happens with anything bigger than a 6 sheet)
Although the Kong 24 sheeter is impressive overall I just cannot get over how terrible the rendition of Kong is...he looks like Picasso or Dali painted him. And this is from someone who loves daybills!
So the Casa HS is out for auction....wonder if it will go for x or y.....
Those numbers seem accurate
I was a bit surprised by the last insert result. I thought it would go for more. I guess I will be glued to my computer on auction day..curious to know the final price.
Look at the guy's face. What the fuck is he so happy about?. The movie he's in is crap, his jacket sucks, the poster's dull. Man, I would shoot myself in the head if I was Ferris Bueller...
When you spot an error or omission like the above, PLEASE email us that info so we can correct it.
If you want to bid on the poster, and you feel that leaving the information out of the auction is giving you a competitive edge, then that is fine, but if so, then please still email us after it ends. Of course it is still fine for you to post it here, just also let us know by email, because I don't have the time to scan every post on every forum.
I have sent the info on the origin of this art to Matt at my work (we don't open for a few hours) and he will get it fixed today.
Thanks for the correction!

What do other people think? Was the final price for Kong good? Higher / lower than expected?
I feel like it went lower than I thought, but I guess the size makes it less desirable even if it's rare!
(for people who don't understand Ocker)
Those numbers seem accurate
- Ferris Bueller's Day Off
- Matthew Broderick
- Daybill
- Open for bidding!

And for the record, I like daybills.
Entitled "Les Grandes Baigneuses (The Large Bathers)" it hangs in Philadelphia Museum Of Art, Philadelphia...no white bars.
Fortunately the museum doesn't censor art
