Whoever acquired the Pinocchio Australian daybill could have a unique poster, as the RKO- Scope credit, as far as I have been able to establish to this time, is the only country in the World to have used it on a poster.
The Propstore poster auction doesn't look like it went so well?, with the exception of a few such as the Dambusters Quad for £6000, the vast majority failed to sell.
It pays to read the fine print sometimes! This never-folded Style C 1S was only distributed to a relative few Cinerama theaters (US only?). Director Stanley Kubrick gave this unused MP to the artist Robert McCall. Which begs the Q: Where's the original art? [It's already passed low estimate!]
Shadow of the Boomerang hit the USD300 again! WOW!
It would be interesting to know who bought this one and the earlier sold copy. Australian buyers or Billy Graham followers possibly from the U.S.A.? Any chance Bruce of being able to inform us which continent the two posters now reside in or will reside in?

You guys surely know that there is no auction anywhere that shares the names of its buyers (unless the buyers do it themselves).
A significant value of an auction business is their secret list of buyers, especially those who don't mind paying "above market" prices for items they want (usually because they don't want to take the time to seek out lower priced items, which can take much time and energy, when they can simply bid higher and get what they want right away).
I will say that while the most active Australian collectors (many of whom are on this forum) DO take part in our auctions of Australian posters, we also DO have several bidders who are surely unknown to everyone here! And I will also add that our next auction of Australian posters is set for August 31st, and as of right now I don't have enough daybills to fill that auction, so if anyone here has seen our results and would like to send some to us for that auction, they need to do so ASAP!
Here is a handy checklist to help tell eMoviePoster.com apart from all other major auctions!
