I'm liking the Snow White One Sheet coming up in the Emovie august auction...
Indeed very nice, am looking forward to seeing what the 'all animation' Part turns up.
I was also reading the spiel just above that: "Then you will LOVE our August Major Auction (which is one major auction that DOESN'T have a "For Millionaires Only" sign on its door..."
Seems this forum has a lot of millionaires as members.
*sigh* I miss the good old days when this one would sell for close to $200K
----------------------------------------
Sold for USD$1,434
The seller could not have got their money back on that, restored borders which is the same issue as a batch of them but for the title I would have thought a little underdone?
---------------------------------------- Sold for USD$776.75
Great actor that Donald. These stock Disney posters seems to maintain a steady demand
Virtually everything I'm watching - mostly the Aussie stuff - has gone below the low estimate. Man from Planet X is the major exception, but there will be a few disappointed consignors.

And that is that. Would have to say it seems the Daybills overall generated low prices. I don't know who the consignors are but once fees and their costs (postage/packaging/insurance to send the posters) I'm not so sure they will be paying off the mortgage this month.
Was anyone keeping a track on any of the posters (not just Daybills) - would I be right in thinking prices overall either were short of or just reached their low estimate?
yes i was watching other posters and lobby cards that i have and virtually all were at the lower end of the estimates or didn't even make the low estimate. Two exceptions were Man from planet X daybill and Revenge of the Jedi US one-sheet which got more than $4000 with BP.

Does to seem to be a bit of a trend, with the exception of the odd title most aren't hitting their marks now. The USD must be starting to bite the Aussie based collector, add to that the cost of the postage (upwards of $100 to pull something out of the US vs no more than $20 locally) one wonders if the buyers can keep going overseas to bid now.

It's ok...
That one is better in real life.

The daybill is perty compared to the other one, so it should win hands down!
That is a rare one, only the 3rd I've seen come up for sale, and who knows if any of the 3 were the same poster.
I like the HS for the Man who shot Liberty Valance but it looks like rather faded. Shame. Need to get one...
