  • The Mondo Cane daybill is most likely first release. It was produced in the style of the posters Blake Films were producing in 1963 when this film was first released in Australia. I haven't seen another copy, but it wouldn't surprise me if others turn up sometime.
  • Has anyone come across another daybill for the Australian movie It Takes All Kinds? This is the only one I have ever heard of …

There are  two other limited colour daybill variations of this exact design, and one another stock daybill, using this style of design with slightly more colour. but less credits and images, that I have sent direct to John.
  • Can we see too?

Thanks Lawrence.  Reminds me of the daybills for end play and Australia after dark that seem to come in several colours...

Yes, I would doubt that there would have been a full colour version.

Agree. The green and the brownish daybills seem to have been inspired by the U.S. green and brown combination lobby cards.

Me too!  It definately has to go as it is ruining what would otherwise be a gorgeous poster.  But other than it, the poster doesn't really need any work, so I am loath to send it off for backing just to have the 28 removed.
    What's a girl to do...FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS!
  • Signed by John Richardson …

  • On second glance...is that some kind of stock daybill?
  • Its hard to say for sure but I have never seen any daybills for In the Navy before. Have you ever come across anything? It is printed by Marchant so the time frame is right.
