Well, not sure that it is an error. According to a few sites she was billed alternatively as Me Me Lai (born 3 November 1951), sometimes billed as Me Me Lay or Meme Lay. According to imdb she was billed in the film as Marayå (as Me Me Lay)

Sorry John but in IMDb she is billed as being Me Me Lai and as playing Mowara. On the original Italian version titled Mangiati Vivi!, and also in the Spanish, Mexican and French film posters she is also credited as also being Me Me Lai. On the USA poster titled Doomed To Die, and some other foreign countries posters she didn't make the credits as she wasn't the main female star of the film.

Firstly the IMDb crediting of Me Me Lai as Maraya (as Me Me Lay ), that you attached above doesn't correspond with the top cast listing on IMDb that shows viewing it as solely as being Me Me Lai as Maraya.

I have just watched the Eaten Alive! English version opening credits on You tube where she is credited as being Me Me Lai. The Australian release of Eaten Alive! was released in Australia by Garland Productions who were a mall independent film distributor I once spoke to a person who had worked at Garland Productions who had released a lot of exploitation films. I was told by him some of their films had title changes in Australia and things done to further promote their films, With the two stars top billing order order and spelling perhaps they copied from the Australian daybill of the earlier released Man From Deep River (aka Sacrafice) film to help promote the film's release thus explaining the incorrect spelling that occurred only in Australia,
