An expanded image for 227 to hopefully assist.
  • Image # 227 clue is that the film being publicised is based on a biography.
  • Final clue for 227 is that this actress in question had the same screen surname as another famous actress.
  • I am really surprised that my clue from yesterday for 227 didn't ring a bell.
  • Another image to have a think about.

     228
  • Is 228 Hedy Lamarr in White Cargo

It made me think Beverly Garland, but I couldn't find any image match.

Thanks for having a go but it isn't Beverly Garland.

As it certainly would appear that the identity of the actress featured in the #f27 image has everyone stumped, I will now reveal the answer to be Mitzi Gaynor from the 1957 film The Joker Is Wild, The same surname clue referred to the famous actress Janet Gaynor.

  •  231  232
I am thinking that one image should be easy enough to recognise, but not so much the other.
  • 232 is of course Sigourney Weaver in Ghostbusters

Not Sharon Stone bur a good guess anyway.
  • A clue for 231 is a great nickname.

  • An extension of the previous clue for 231 is a great nickname for where the film was shot.

  •  231

    Who's in first?
  • 231 The Big Easy

Correct. The Big Easy from 1986. Ellen Barkin was an actress I remember fondly for the performance she gave in Sea Of Love ( 1989 ).

  •   233  234
Musical film fans of the Golden Years of Hollywood should appreciate these two entries.

  • I am likely wrong, but I am thinking 234 is Ruby Keeler from Forty Second Street.

And 233 looks like Ginger Rogers, maybe Follow the Fleet?

    Just wild guesses!
